John Tainton employee Andy Philips is taking part in The Big Worcester Sleep Out. His goal is to raise money and awareness for the homeless and people who have not been as fortunate as himself in life. He is also doing it for mental health awareness as this has a huge impact on our homeless.
We are all too quick to judge our homeless, eager to walk past and ignore them in everyday life and this needs to change. They don’t have the plague!
The Big Worcester Sleep Out will take place on the 4th April 2019 to raise money for three Worcester Charities; St Paul’s Hostel, Warriors Community Foundation and Maggs Day Centre. Everyone is welcome and our aim is that 100 people sleep out on the night, raising a minimum of £65,000. The Worcester Big Sleep Out will be held at Worcester Warriors Rugby Stadium and start at 7pm.
